Will work toward arriving and being setup by 0900 PST or 1600 UTC.  Track me on aprs.fi using KG6HQD-9 while mobile and KG6HQD-7 once on the trail for real time ETA to summit.  Will spend 1.5 hours on summit and will work 20m & VHF 146.520 FM.

This will be a head to head test of the KG6HQD speaker wire antenna vs the K9ARV linked dipole.  Both are cut and resonate on 20m and the dipole requires RG174 coax to use.  They will be setup identically and I’ll use the Elecraft Utility software to run CW through each of them for later RBN results.

Time Permitting a second nearby peak will be activated for fun with the “best” antenna!
